I've only ordered once with Viking Direct, which was for a office desk and chair. Both cost in the region of two hundred pounds. The desk could actually be described more like a work station. It was self assembly, but did not pose too many problems. I can't remember how many days it took for Viking Direct to deliver it, but I think it was in a timely manner. It must have been five or six years ago now. The table is still going strong, but the chair has sadly broken down. Within a year it had become unstable and was leaning to one side. And within two to three years it was all but kaput. Which was a disappointment for a two hundred, maybe it was three hundred pound chair, it was essentially the most expensive one they had. Viking since that time have sent no end of brochures and catalogues to me, even though I never solicited them. They have begun to slow down, no doubt because their computer system has recognised their marketing is not working.
