Our last experience of Thomson, as a couple, was booking a week long break to the Greek Island of Kos. It was a packaged holiday, but it started to go wrong the minute we landed on Greek soil. The rep seemed confused, the travel arrangement to our digs was late by a two hours, and we did arrive at the hotel, it was the middle of summer with the air conditioner on the blink. The hotel was not as advertised and miserably failed to meet our expectations. I'd not experienced any problems with Thomson before, and I hope this was just a blip from their usual high standard.
