Plenty of branches in the Greater Manchester region, sells most equipment and goods you'd desire from a sports shop. Majority of goods are for the most popular sports, like soccer, tennis, golf, rugby and cricket. There are a few other fitness / exercise pursuits supported, but nothing major.

The prices are fairly affordable, especially so in the sales period when you can pickup out of season footballs etc for two or three quid. But if you want to buy a recently released product, then do not expect any kind of discount, the stores are located in prime shopping locations, so I doubt the overheads can allow them to discount heavily.

The lillywhites store in Nottingham is terrific as well. Spread out over huge floor spaces, I think it has either two or three floors, I can't quite remember. The clothes are located on the ground floor, and hockey sticks, cricket bats, squash rackets, golf clubs etc. are to be found on the first floor.
