You can pick up some real bargains at poundstretcher. For all those items with obscene markups, aka Christmas crackers, you can save a packet shopping here. The stores are cheap but cheerful. The pounds in your purse really do stretcha long way.

Not always as cheap as wilko's but you can pick up a huge stock of cleaning bleaches for peanuts. The poundstretcher stores can be a little hard to find because they are usually situated on the edges of a town centre. Ideal place to shop when times are tough and money is tight.

Today i was absolutely disgusted with instore/pound stretcher, after being given a discount voucher for the 'local community discount day voucher' to use on Thursday 29th Oct 2009 to allow me to recieve 20% off all stock (with the exception of food and toiletries)a few weeks agoo. Today i went into the Grimsby Alexandra Retail Park store (which was where i was given this voucher)and got to the till with my shopping, only to be told that this had been withdrawn! Surely this cannot be legal as this voucher does not have any small print!
