I was a former member of their premier service. I had no wish to join the service, they automatically put me into it when my savings reached a certain amount. I then switched my savings to another account for a better interest rate. HSBC rightfully messaged me in the post saying I no longer had the assets to stay in the service. The cheek of it was they didn't move me down to lower account automatically, no, they said they will now charge me £15 a month to be a member of the premier service. I never wanted the service, and now I had to pay for it. Took me an hour on the phone to make them switch me back to a free* account. Premier service was a waste of space, extra interest was tiny, and extra services not worth a bean, let along fifteen quid a month.
