n/a Said, When I first visited the Homebase site, there seemed to be a problem
with registering a new account. It was over the weekend and the customer
services on the phone had no advice on how to solve the problem. I tried
using a different browser, but firefox brought up the same error. Will
I shop again with Homebase, no. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kelly Said, Provide good discounts for new customers, and some interest free payment plans if you shop at the right time. They can be expensive, and you need to jump through a few hoops to gain credit. The discount card is worth acquiring however, and it's helped save a few pounds on every order I have made online. service & felt i got the best possible design for my shape, size kitchen.....shame
its 3.5k more than ive been quoted by b&Q .....i would of spent 1k
more on a homebase kictehn because of the service i got instore &
the guarentees offered....just cant justify spending 3.5k on a very much
comparable product & services ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Graham Said, 1. Ordered two ceiling lights. Description (and all 5 reviews) said bulbs included. Since that would have been six energy-saving bulbs, seemed a really good deal! Lights arrived without bulbs, and with packet saying bulbs NOT included. Homebase customer service said someone would ring me back. They didn't. Called again and eventually got an e-mail back saying "Thank you for bringing this to our attention, it is an error on our internet stating the bulbs are included, this is in the process of being amended." Called again explaining reviews all said bulbs were included, so it couldn't be a mistake on the website. Got called back a few minutes later saying they would send a £10 voucher to cover the cost of buying some bulbs, and to let them know if it cost more than that. Checked their website to find they now don't stock the right bulbs, either in-store or online, so have bought them from John Lewis instead. Will write and complain but am not holding my breath for a reply... 2. Reserved a Christmas tree to pick up in-store. Drove 13 miles to find they had sold out days ago. And had sold out of all other Christmas trees, except a very expensive one. Went next-door to B&Q, who had clearly anticipated that people might want Christmas trees at Christmas, and was able to choose from a huge range. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thomas Said, I could write a whole saga about homebase, but it would take too long. So I will simply say. I have never come across such a bunch of indolent idiots who have no idea what they are doing as regards cutomer care nor are they interested, once they get your money. I suggest you give them a wide birth.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
