The company who claims they can find anything for a client, if you want
a baby crocodile, these are the guys to ask. Harrods, as all of you will
know, are the best known department store in the UK, and probably the world.
Their store is based in Knightsbridge, in the swanky west end of London.
It's current owner is the controversial Mohamed Al Fayed, and you can immediately
see his influence when you step inside the store, the elevators are lavishly
decorated in the Egyptian style (his country of origin). The most impressive
of all the departments is the food court imo, and one of the few I will
put my hand in my pocket to purchase anything from. The Harrods website
is fairly recent, they seemed slow to catch onto the benefits of the web.
I have to say I am a little disappointed by it, while it's a beautiful site
to behold, it lacks a large selection of products to pick from. They really
need to increase the product list.
