We have purchased a washing machine ( 1200spin BEK-WMA520) from them on 12 Feb 2007. This machine has developed some fault-seems with the programmer and as it is still within 12 month warranty period we like to have this repaired.

A SHAME EMPIREDIRECT CLOSED. I PURCHASED UNI MEDIA S19/7 LCD TELEVISION IN SEPTEMBER 2007 FROM CURRYS. ALONG WITH A PHILLIPS WACS7000 SYSTEM AND A OMM CANTILEVER TOTAL COST OF GOODS £1024.96,IN NOVEMBER LAST YEAR THE HD STOPPED WORKING ON THE TELEVISION SO I MADE CONTACT WITH YOURSELVES BY TELEPHONE ONLY TO BE TOLD BY A RECORDED MESSAGE THAT BECAUSE THE TELEVISION HAD ONLY GOT A 18INCH SCREEN I WOULD HAVE TO PERSONALLY TAKE THE SET TO ONE OF YOUR STORES TO BE REPAIRED SO AFTER A COOLING DOWN PERIOD I FINALLY TOOK TO YOUR NORTHAMPTON RIVERSIDE BRANCH ON SATURDAY 14TH FEBUARY AND WAS TOLD POLITELY BY ONE OF THE YOUNG STAFF MEMBERS THAT BECAUSE THE SET WAS OUT OF WARRENTY IT WASNT WORTH REPAIRING,I KNOW THAT IT IS A THROW AWAY WORLD NOWADAYS BUT I PAID £249.99 SO EXPECTED WHAT I WAS TOLD WAS A GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT TO LAST ME MORE THAN 14 MONTHS DOES THIS MEAN THAT IF I HAD PAID EXTRA FOR AN EXTENDED WARRENTY I WOULD HAVE WASTED MORE OF MY MONEY AS THE TELEVISION WAS NOT WORTH REPAIRING.

i bought a lg plasma from your bolton store last febuary WITH a ED XTRA CARD i would like a refund of my TV please as it is now no good and my tv is broken it cost 1199.99 and i have spoken to trades and standards over this. please could you e-mail me back on, thank you
